At the East part of the historical center of Thessaloniki, only few meters away from the coast you will find the most beautiful museum of the city. The Museum of Byzantine Culture. A building that presents all the grace of monastery architecture through modern design and materials. Visiting the museum you will have the chance to learn more things not only about Thessaloniki but about the medieval history of the whole eastern Europe as well.

And if you could buy only one thing - what you bought?
ReplyDeleteChristina, you watched the movie "Leap Year"?

Yes i did, i try to see almost any movie that it has scenes from Ireland!
DeleteWhen asked about the one thing that you bought it, I thought about this movie. So is the scene where Declan asks Anna what would she took from a burning house (or something like that). It was about one thing, which is exceptional value for Anna. Do you remember?
Delete:)
Only now that you mentioned! Well in case of fire and if we are talking only about belongings, i would take one box where i keep all the family photos and the hard disc with my back up.
DeleteI always think museums are a 'must see' when visiting a new city.. if I ever get to Thessaloniki I'm there Christina :)
